ZOEVA ROSE GOLDEN COMPLETE EYE SET VOL.2

I've been on the hunt for a while for some new brushes to add to my collection, currently made up from mainly Real Techniques, Morphe and a few MAC brushes. I really wanted to expand on eye brushes as this is something I'm severely lacking in. With thanks to my amazingly, thoughtful brother *bows down* he purchased these gorgeous babies for my Christmas, and I couldn't be happier. The set is made up of 12 eye brushes and a matching travel bag. They have a cream/nude handle, the ferrule is of course a beautiful rose gold and have a mix of natural and synthetic bristles.

142 Concealer Buffer | The best way to describe this brush is as if a kabuki brush just had a baby! It's a small buffing brush, great for (as the name suggests) concealer. Great for concealing dark circles or buffing out concealers/creams on the lid.

221 Luxe Soft Crease | Slightly tapered at the end, the bristles are quite long, and perfect for blending eyeshadow evenly into the crease. I find this works really well when doing a cut crease as it makes short work of harsh lines. You can use this to create smooth transitions and ombré effects as well.

227 Luxe Soft Definer | Super soft and perfect for blending shadows into each other and creating the perfect transition between shades. I personally love this brush for any shadows I find are a bit stubborn when it comes to blending them in as it gives such a soft and smooth finish.

228 Luxe Crease |This brush is great for applying and blending in your transition shade. It fits perfectly into your crease and because it has a tapered end it ensures you don't miss any tricky product hiding in your crease!

230 Luxe Pencil | Another tapered brush, I love this for smudging and blending out eyeliner and shadow under the lower lash line.  Great for creating a sexy smokey eye. I also find it really useful for applying pigment or a glittery shadow on the inner corner / near the tear duct.

231 Luxe Petite Crease | This brush is like a bigger version of the 230, very similar in shape, however it is not as dense as the 230, it is softer. I really like this for applying lighter shades such as highlighting under my brows, and really being able to work product into the crease, as I find it gives you more precision over other brushes in this collection.

232 Luxe Classic Shader | The best use for this is to apply eyeshadow onto the lid, you can really pack product on with this brush and add to the intensity of the colour. It is quite wide, and flat so picks up a decent amount of product, but also disperses it evenly over the lid.

235 Contour Shader | This brush is softly angled to allow you to apply shadow onto the natural contours of the eye and gently blend it in. This works well with all types of product.

238 Luxe Precise Shader | Great for finishing touches and detailed work. This is essential if you have very small or hooded lids. I love this for applying product into the inner corner and also into the centre of the lid.

310 Spot Liner | Possibly the smallest brush in the entire world! This brush was specifically designed to visually thicken your lash line with liner or shadow. Great for natural, day to day looks.

322 Brow Line | As suggested by the name, this is a short, angled brush, best for lining your brows with. You can use this with either gel/pomade products and also with powders. If you apply concealer around your brows to define them, you can use this for that also as it gives a perfect straight, sharp line, which you can then blend out.

325 Luxe Brow Light | Another brush that 'does what it says on the tin' is the brow light brush. It is very short and dense, so applies product perfectly and precisely. I use this to apply my powder highlight onto my brow bone. I also find this useful for buffing out a thick line under the lower lash line.

I adore this set, all brushes are made with such quality and feel extremely durable. They retail for around £56-£65 depending on where you purchase them from - which may not sound cheap but that works out at just under £5 for each brush!

Have you tried any of these Zoeva brushes? What are your favourites, and what other Zoeva brushes would you recommend?
